Re: Mark Noble signs a new contract
A friend of mine who doesn't support West Ham but often browses this site has said to me in the past he simply doesn't get the love in with Noble by the same fans who destroy others.

Obviously I can state the reason that he is West Ham as a big factor but when you see some defending his performance today it really is hard to wonder if some can ever look at him objectively because every bad game it is always due to someone elses poor showing yet they never suggest Noble's perormance might equally impact others.

Today he was easily exposed by Palace as being slow, easy to outmuslcle and unable to show much creativity despite plenty of the ball, as usual it seems if others don't shine neither does Noble and it does show what a limited player he is.

Let's be fair Noble still has plenty to contribute to West Ham if we are to remain a mid to lower table side but if we want progress sadly in my opinion it will have to be without him.

Re: Mark Noble signs a new contract
Also whatever happened with zarate whether down to him or allardyce has had a detrimental effect. It has meant downing has played and is knackered and he has had no pressure on his place. Zarate always had an impact

So did a lot of them to be fair. Jenkinson, Kouyate, Valencia, Downing. All of them had a bad first touch today.

Re: Mark Noble signs a new contract
Today he took at least two touches to control the ball

Not good

The entire 3 needs a shake up, we know who needs to be dropped but the Big Man wont give Poyet a chance and we've all seen how Nolan plays in there.

Re: Mark Noble signs a new contract
The midfield's been shit for months, yet many on here didn't want to touch a player that has led WBA to 8 points in their last 4 games by leading their midfield.

Always great to see our fans celebrating a loss.

Re: Mark Noble signs a new contract
People moaned about Fletcher getting a 3 year deal then they give this carthorse a 5 year contract. Absolute madness.

Re: Mark Noble signs a new contract
the problem was Song kept coming to get ball off the back 4 or adrian and they ignored him at belted it forward on to scott danns head, he got fucked off with it imho.

our sophisticated cunt of a manager played into their hands, first 10 and last 10 when we passed it we were well in control, we made it a fight game and that suited them. down to the manager im afraid

Agreed Norwich....total bollocks giving him a five year contract....madness.

Re: Mark Noble signs a new contract
We will not move forwards with the likes of him on a 5 year contract, not just today's performance but he really is not what we should be aiming at!

Re: Mark Noble signs a new contract
We all keep the club going Eerie you prat.
Why can't we have an opinion on Noble? Just because you see it differently by no means make you right. Just like you think Song was poor, you have the right to an opinion, I don't have to agree with it.

You could count on one hand the number of good games Noble has had. Two weeks ago all you Noble lovers were keeping a low profile because given your hero's display at WBA was about par for the course this season.

I thought the whole midfield were ropey, poor ball control, passing and movement.

I didn't say that.

So you thought Noble played well And it was Songs and Kouyates fault we lost?

Right ho

Eerie Descent 6:59 Sat Feb 28
Re: Mark Noble signs a new contract
They ran the show because Kayoute and Song, in particular, were poor. They game completely passed Kayoute by, at least Noble looked for the ball, got involved, and played some cracking balls through, something Song WAS doing a few months ago. Unfortunately, in a team performance so bad, you'll get idiots who will want to dig him out when others deserve it, sadly it's expected.
